Thanks very much. Lol It seems that 'John' got offended by my correction of his misinformation. The first thing I said is, 'Wake up and smell the coffee'. His nose must be stuffy & he needs to get out more.

Yall better wake up and smell this coffee. You cannot blame the U.S or the Gun Manufacturers. Keith Bell cannot assure you that the guns found here are manufactured just weeks before. That is a fact and if it is so, when they run the serial numbers, that one gun that is found to be manufactured weeks before is probably 1 out of every 100+ guns found. You have to realize in a country where guns are legal to licensed owners, they of course will not own just 1 gun. A rightful gun owner can have as much guns as they want depending on the specifics of the different state laws. This gun hoarding/collecting eventually leads to sales to other licensed owners or those that have the money to buy, and those that have the money to buy are actually buying at their own risk unless they are legal U.S citizens. Guns are sold to many non licensed owners and that is legal. Once you are a citizen and you are of age, you are able to own a gun, this is probably the only specific that may stop a responsible gun owner from selling, but we are living in a world where 'money' is the motive and sometimes gun owners are not responsible enough to take that precaution and sell the gun anyway just for quick money without verifying if the one that is buying is actually able to own a firearm. A gun license or Concealed Carry Permit is what you need in order to carry the gun on you, once it is concealed. Those citizens that do not have a conceal carry permit are allowed to own guns but are not allowed to carry them concealed on their person, rather 'locked' in the glove box unloaded with ammunition and magazines in the back trunk if travelling via vehicle. The fact is, each gun bought is not always registered and depending on the state once you have a gun license or of the age to own, and you are a citizen, you have a right to buy/own any gun that is legal to own without declaring how many guns you already have. Bahamians tend to go to the states, visit gun shows and exhibits, or have friends already there that own guns or know persons that do, who are willing to make a quick buck. They are then obviously able to buy the gun at their own risk. As for the smuggling, you have to blame the system, not the U.S or it manufacturers.

When are you going to realize your ignorance. For every 1 caught another 3 gets away. The water is a vast ocean, and the geographical location/arrangement of our islands makes it very hard to catch these runners. You simply cannot be everywhere at once.

rory is absolutely oblivious to this type of situation that is currently at hand in our country and the world. I would ask that you do some research before you reveal your ignorant/arrogant comment/s. I haven't heard about any cocaine, molly, or pill busts. There are far more dangerous drugs that are rampant in this country, marijuana is a joke.

This woman has too much money to be so obese. Seems to me like she got fatter. Anyway, I dont know why this Turner woman dont step down from politics. She should have continued to run and keep that Funeral Home. That was the best position for her and she was doing well, but now her presence in the FNM alongside Mr. Minnis does not seem to be too convincing that the FNM will change anything in the future. For too long the Bahamas has been too tit for tat with this PLP and FNM. If the PLP wins, they try to change and/or remove anything the FNM did and vice versa. We hardly see any effective agreements between these two Parties that advances the Bahamas. Its been 40 years too long for the same ole B.S that challenges us everyday, from jobs, to foreigners, and the high cost of living to name a few. We all know how her late father despised her for even getting involved in politics and of course being apart of the FNM coming from a big 'die hard' PLP family.

'concernedcitizen' has to be living on a different planet, in a different Bahamas. There are REAL countries in Latin America & Africa that will put the Bahamas to shame. These countries contain industries that produce automobiles and aircraft just to name a few. WE the Bahamas is a country for sale. We dont produce anything, we have no major industries other than 'offshore' banking and 'tourism' that every country has to take advantage of yet we have not made any effective effort to expand from . Of course there are other countries more advanced than us. Have you ever travelled outside the Bahamas other than the U.S ? You young man/woman are just plain ignorant.

MY GOD. I hope this is a hoax. Do you know how detrimental this is or can be to our National Security credibility, internationally? If this is not enough to terminate the ankle bracelet plan/contract then the Bahamas is really going down like 'Air-Tran'. You see it is things like this that shows that the Government has not thoroughly thought this entire thing through. It sounded like a good plan, but really in our Bahamas, in this day and age, and with the types of lawlessness being conceived here, you would think that there would be more stiffer penalties rather than this device that we have WASTED another set of tax dollars on. I hope Mr. Nottage and his team can whip up a good excuse and blame ICS for this as they never take full responsibility; is it not now evident that this device was a lousy implementation? We the people have already expressed that this was not a good idea, but we couldn't bite the hand the fed, and oh yea 'protected' us. The govt is now to blame for even considering this; both FNM and PLP because they both believed in this implementation.

Ya see why this new FNM aint making no sense. Why would Mr.Minnis, as an opposition leader, ask the current leader to 'fire' his appointed Foreign Affairs Minister? Who else is even eligible and/or more credible than Fred Mitchell to take on this position in the PLP? It would be even worst if you asked me. He knows that the PM is not going to do this, and they are all laughing at the FNM for making such trivial requests. I think Mr. Minnis tries every avenue to oppose the PLP without thinking about the consequences of his remarks that could ruin his own credibility and ultimately the credibility of the FNM. Many may assume that he is trying to get retaliation from his former suspension, and the FNM's lousy attempt to boycott the HOA. I am an FNM unfortunately but this is a Government, lets leave all the tit for tats at home and get down to the real business. Now, I really dont see how this PLP is going to generate 10,000 jobs by the end of their 1st year in office. Of course this was one of the main reasons they got in but who is holding them to their word? Not the FNM, they rather spend days in the HOA talking about the Prince Nygard's stem cell proposal, and oh yea the poor handling of this Immigration dilemma. Sending these politics to the House is almost like sending children to preschool to, who may guess, ..PLAY! Yet we face the 'same ole' problems every 5 years with little to no progress, and oh yess, less land because between the foreigners who are basking in our sunlight and these out of hand shanty towns, we Bahamians ga soon be fighting for our own repatriation and/or asylum.
