The Government should charge every tourist, even those that come on regular airlines, a $50,000 Visitor's Fee in order to set foot in the Bahamas. Yeah, that's a great idea. Oh yeah. LOL. OR they could be given the option to just pay $25,000 at their travel agent in the USA and not have to come at all, and save a lot of stress.
Climate change ? LOL Climate change ? LOL Climate change ? LOL Climate change ? LOL Sending and fire trucks on that marines boat? LOL. No, of course not.
So Pintard and Brave want to cut taxes so they can continue to have "no money" as an excuse to not fix potholes and school windows. Uhm. Ok. Don't worry though, the Bahamian people will vote one of them into power next year. They don't trust any other Party to "have the experience" to make their lives better. Uhm like these two have? LOL
Sarah, it sounds like you don't want someone who will stand up for the Bahamian people instead of their numbered ballot "elected" government. Sounds like you don't want the US to help us even though we rely on them for 90% of what we have. Or maybe you just don't want him because he is a "personal friend" of Donald Trump, and well "Orange Man Bad" - right? Maybe he might help Donald to find out if Bahamians truly want to become a state (52 after Greenland?) of the country that they visit and spend-in or send all of their money to and listen to all of the music of and watch all the movies from and dress like and sing like and do everything except get their potholes fixed from. You know the reason Trump did not give us TPS after Dorian and maybe you like that direction we are heading in? Anyway, for those who have not even seen Walker, here is a video clip ... The Chinese don't care who watches, while they take over the world. You can have a ringside seat if you want, meanwhile the FPO container port is made out of steel. It's real. Images are virtual. The Bahamas and the US must think their people can eat virtual food.
The opportunity to ask in Parliamemt may not arise. Our "representatives" are not allowed to speak in Parliament without the Speaker (PMs) permission. What are you going to do about it? Rest another mace gently on a construction platform? LOL. When yall were in power you wouldnt make the House rules fair, now you can suck teeth.
Govt don't want out islands to grow to have more seats in Parliament. It's that simple. Nassau has more seats than all the family islands combined. They like it like that. Bahamians keep voting FNM or PLP or staying home - so they like it like that too. Bread and circuses transformed into Kalik and dominoes.
I hate to agree with Flying Fred on anything, but here he is correct. Say you had a saving account at a bank for 10 years and now want to open a business and open a separate business chequing acct - well, suddenly the bank does not know you anymore. You have to find your birth certificate to prove you are even alive. You wonder why people throw KFC box on the side of the road? Just connecting garbage and garbage together. Our whole country is garbage (only for Bahamians, of course).
