I certainly do not support him, but i moreso dont support discrimination against any race. Are you suggesting that it's OK for black employees to be forcefully injected with chemicals so long as the force is coming from a black employer?

Freedom and rights seem to only matter in white dominated areas. Florida, Texas, and Tennessee have opened up and the UK is planning to remove restrictions very soon. All mostly white areas. Canada, which is mostly white, continues its ban on direct flights from Canada to anywhere in the Caribbean. I think BLM needs to look into these apparent discriminatory practices to determine if they are based on science. Let us pray we are not returning to the era of the "dirty and diseased negro" sitting at the back of the bus.

It seems unfair that only Mr. Scott's business name is mentioned. Did he do something worse than the other 2 businesses?

"CSP Dames said 101 businesses have been cited since the start of the year for operating while prohibited, corresponding to about $200,000 in fines. Two hundred and thirty-four people have been cited for patronising a prohibited business for a total of about $70,000 in fines."

How many were fined for not shouting "Heil Hitler"? Or did i get the name wrong? Im not perfect you know, contrary to the belief of many of my loyal readers. Im also quite an honorable gentleman, but i wouldn't refer to myself as "most honorable". Nope.

Anyway, would love to stay and write some more but gotta dash home now b4 curfew (but obey the speed limit on my way, of course).

I agree. No relation to 1942. After all, what could be wrong with taking a shower, especially after a long train ride? The economic downturn has been a long ride, yes? What fool would refuse a shower? Smelling bad and spreading germs, those ignorant devils.

JokeyJack says...

No, they will have their own food and water depot on the island and their own quack doctors who believe in bleach and HCQ. Maybe even a few palm readings to predict their bleak and dark futures?

JokeyJack says...

Yes, i know it's spelled "duct tape". But i would support duck tape also. Can we make tape from ducks? Do we have any ducks? We got those pigs down in Exuma. Pig tape?

The point of the debate would be for the non-PLP and non-FNM candidates to present FACTS about our national wealth and our national potential and have those other 2 answer why Bahamians are kept out in the backyard tied up with a chain. Quite simple really. People like ProudLoud and Birdie, however, would be perfectly happy for Bahamians to continue to have corned beef as their staple diet of food and for children to maintain a D average. Nobody know why they are so accepting of these things, but maybe someday we will find out. I won't even ask where the VAT money gone. Ooops - I just did. Sorry. I know that nobody cares about that 900 million dollars a year except me, so I guess i oughta just drop the issue. Bahamians don't need 900 million dollars - they are just ok as they are.

No Birdie, it was the PLP who did not allow candidates Christie and Sears to speak to the delegates at the last PLP Convention, prior to their voting for Party Leader. Neither Sears nor Christie would publicly speak out against that decision.

Agree totally, it was best to buy it and now we have it instead of Hutchinson. However, what would really be icing on the cake would be to pass a law in the House that forbids both government and all private/public businesses (everyone / everything) in the Bahamas from entering into any deal whatsoever (business or otherwise) with the Chinese. Should any deals be found to be signed / entered into on any date after the Law is passed then the Bahamas person will face 5 years in prison and $500,000 fine.
It's one thing to make a mistake - but it is truly silly to make the mistake again. The Law would also have to cover cases of "front men" or front corporations that seem to be Bahamian or from wherever, but the money actually ties back to China. Once revealed, then the judge's hammer comes down on them. So the law would need to include Hong Kong since they are no longer independent, and maybe we could show our intelligence and lead the world for once by including Taiwan by saying "they gonna fall in the near future anyway, so we can save ourselves time amending."
We've always known that the Chinaman can make a dollar out of fifteen cents - but only in the last decade or so have we (the entire world) learned that it is YOUR fifteen cents they making it out of, not theirs. LOL.
