Bahama7 - What revenues? The government is set to obtain the revenues - that does not help us at all. These foreign investors need to know that we all have NIB accounts where monies can be deposited and we can withdraw funds in the form of "unemployment cheques". Regardless, I think here the Pope maybe be invoking the idea from Jesus of giving to Caesar what is Caesar's. One situation is gay couples visitation rights in hospitals. They have none. Some legal union would allow them this legal right. God did not make hospital visitation rights. It is thus a "Caesar" law. If Caesar allows homosexuals to live and consort freely, rather than beheading them in the public square (for example), then why should Caesar not allow them to visit their partner when he/she is in hospital or be able to sign off on important documents regarding medical care if one partner is medically unable to? This is all mankind stuff, not Heavenly stuff.

Marriage is Heavenly, an agreement with God. It is impossible for homosexuals to become married (no matter what the state of California says) because God is not going to put his "signature" to the agreement. He has already stated his opposition in his document/s (the Bible).
