"Mr Davis also suggested waiving the fees for the taxi drivers and tour drivers who can’t renew their licenses at the moment so they can be back on their feet when visitors return."

So when will they return Mr. Davis? Which American do you think is going to fill out that travel form and risk a $20,000 fine AND a 5 year vacation in Her Majesty's Motel ?

Next time your "crew" is in power they should offer an amendment to have elections every 3 years. It wont happen of course because "they" will be in power then and they will want the whole 5. They will also argue that "nothing" can be done in 3 years. Im sure plenty boss laugh at that. They will ignore the fact that IF they do a good job and things are coming on stream then the people will give them another 3. 3+3=6 which is greater than 5. But that math may just be too confusing.

Wonder if anyone at URCA or Customs or Price Control will be paying any attention to the invoices for fuel oil imports by GB Power and BPL over these several months while OIL prices have fallen to the floor?

Will our "fuel surcharge" fees remain the same here in the Bahamas? What if oil went down to 15cents per barrel world-wide????????? Would the "fuel surcharge" fees still be higher than the actual usage portion itself ?

.......and having to press 1) for Creole and 2) for English doesn't help either.

Why would you assume that? He simply pointed out which Law Firm was involved with the decision. If it had been Bryson & Packard then he would have said Bryson & Packard. I see no foundation to your question.

Taking into account that Dr. Fauci says that without any doubt there will be a recurrence of this virus in the fall, I believe we need to stay inside until December 31st. I'm upset with all these businesses opening up and seeing cars driving along the roads day (and even at night). ALL businesses and activities need to be shut down completely 100%. Nobody should come out to do anything whatsoever until December 31st (and on Dec 10th we should consider whether to extend that date until March 31st of next year).

Staying inside is safe. You don't get the virus. You don't get in a car accident. You don't get stabbed on the street. You don't die in any plane crashes. You don't spend any money - so you cut the red ink dramatically (a favorite activity of many businesses).

It is a win-win for everyone. As long as power and water and food get supplied by magic - let's go with this idea. Lockdown forever !!!!!! Freedom is overrated (just ask the Chinese Communist Party).
