that is for sure, but here is your problem, the Bahamas has both a consumption tax as well and duties etc, both are killing the earning power of Bahamians and the earning power for Bahamians is low compared to the real world, BTW taxing non Bahamians is a non starter, they will simply not return or reside in the Bahamas, time to look at the real issues, implement a income tax, that's fair to all, the more earned the more taxed
$10bn by the end of the 2021/2022 period will not magically be paid off by pixie dust, tell the truth, Peter Turnquest is suppose to be an accredited accountant YET he is not exactly being honest and truthful to Bahamians
and after that vote an election to return the PLP, and what point will the Bahamas say, time for REAL change or will it remain the same as Einstein said insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
relax we are in the capable hands of a FNM/PLP combo ( both the same) administration and since independence any one not Bahamian is unworthy of bringing any wealth to the Bahamas
