This societal wart of a man couldn’t even pay his utility bills before he was first elected. Miraculously his personal financial situation improved greatly after he was elected. As everyone already said, this guy believes very strongly in serving himself first, second and third before even thinking about anyone else. I would rather elect a herpes infested goat than vote for him.
Damn right! People who actually pay on time are always getting the short end. Property tax has been a cruel joke for decades. First of all, it is their standard practise to value a property 2 or 3 times the actual value. A friend of mine owns an apartment with a "real value" of around $200K. A few years ago they valued it at around $500K. He still fighting about it. We need real world pricing! Second, stop this amnesty crap!! If you don't pay anything, your property will be auctioned off.
If this matter actually ends up going to court (and that's a BIG if) it will probably take at least 10 years to resolve and end up costing more in lawyer fees than the actual damage amount. Which reminds me... "What’s the difference between a good lawyer and a bad lawyer? A bad lawyer might let a case drag on for several years. A good lawyer knows how to make it last even longer."
Herein resides the problem - both parties have absolutely no integrity left to stand on. Calling each other out over scandals now is like two con men arguing about who is more honorable.
How the heck do you "lose control" of a loan?! The loan went out one night, got drunk and got the copayment pregnant? Of course no one is going to prison for this mess, again. Smoke a spliff and they lock you up... "lose control" of a loan to the tune of $2.7 million and nothing happens to you. Our justice system at work.
Remember the Golden Rule... those who have the gold make the rules. It's obvious that the lower and middle classes are going to end up paying through the nose for this mess. The upper elite members will pay token tribute to look good.

That's a good start. Then continue with rounding up all lawyers and sticking them onto an island where they can argue and bill themselves to death.
