I wouldn't go that far but it again shows that our government is as clueless as the rest of the world. Wasted money that could have been used for other needs. Common sense is the first to go when you get elected.

Why would anyone blame the PLP? It's the FNM making all the decisions. Mitchell just loves the sound of his own voice. As for Chicken Davis, he still has not set forth a comprehensive plan for what he would do if he were in charge. Different dogs, same fleas.

So with a population of around 385,000 and our debt of about 9 billion.... that mean every Bahamians share of the national debt is around $23,300.

As usual Chicken Davis is loud and full of hot air. It's easy to criticize when that's all you're doing. Not presenting a detailed plan on what he would do is proof that he is as clueless as everyone else.

Ellis always seems to think he is a politician instead of a priest. He should stick to fleecing his flock and preaching his usual do as I say, not as I do.

KapunkleUp says...

Ellis really needs his one hour show on the Comedy Channel. As for asking other people about their soul... perhaps he should open up his bank accounts and help his fellow men in this time of need instead of putting the burden on everyone else. I am sure this "Man of God" can afford it.

Where do you draw the line is an excellent question. You talk about addiction. There are many items in our everyday lives which have addictive qualities. Caffeine, sugar, nicotine, alcohol, and so on. Are all those items behind or over the line? Who has the moral authority to decide for all of us? Certainly not you or I. Alcohol has not made our society lawless and neither will marijuana. Values do not erode by making marijuana legal. Values are built through good parenting, family and friends. Society is a summary of those collective values. If you are worried that our society will break because of legalizing marijuana then our society has much bigger problems.
