What do the rest of the residents of that island have to say? Do they agree that law and order has been established? Is it not true that the young man in question has been suspected of crimes before and no one said anything so he was free to get the gun and ammo? I would venture to guess his previous victims won't be forgiving him any time soon, humble heart or not.
