May God continue to guide and protect and be with us all....May our strength and belief be as strong as this storm as we remember only him can see us thru. Bahamas as well as the Caribbean take heed in protecting yourselves or going to shelter because the meteorologist can say one thing but Nature can say another.

On Category 1 storm expected to hit in north

This is most insane man. My money in the Bank doesn't clear until two business working days. Which happens to be tomorrow. I've already promised the Landlord that I would pay him. I had plans to get a few grocery items etc. This man is beyond blanked minded and peanut shell brains. We are not animal's man..... This man is mad as in "crazy". I am jobless with two kids and bills over my head. This man has to be Pharaoh from the Bible.....Police are his Soldiers. "Let God's People go ".

I so agree with you. Can we burst him with masks, sanitizers, 6 ft distancing and lockdowns?

Such a selfish inconsiderate thinking old fool. First of...if he cared about anyone during this now time...he could start by dropping the Vat. Isn't like he's not making a kill from the already less fortunate and as it stands right now...he's patronized by Government fundings (Social Services) and private personal pockets. He's made enough money to sympathize about the Bahamian people that traffic his businesses everyday before the pandemic and now so as a desperate call of demand. Rich and hogish.

Here we go again.

Corona and the brink of poverty goes hand in hand.... both is out of control. The Government can only do so much while regular bills are still pending. Feeding a Country is magnificent but other necessities still exists. It's obvious that the number is soaring in cases as well as the bills and future delays, now becoming the new norm. Let's open the boarders and operate under laws and commonsense. Continue the online classes for Students. Continue to follow protocol in the business establishment's. Your allowing what you called businesses of importance or necessities to operate during this pandemic but if we stay home and unchallenged to perform, we will be on the streets, no monies, can't wash our clothes, it's a horror in the land of Paradise. You guy's are living at a luxurious level from the majority of us. You don't have to portion out your next meal or mend two already melted soap together to make one or worry about the Landlord or BPL etc. People we're struggling before this Pandemic so imagine the vast majority of Bahamians, no matter their birth Nationality lose to Covid and Poverty. Give us an opportunity to fight the one that will hit us without symptoms or signs. Covid is bad but what other choices do we have? Quarantine isn't working for us. We have to work in Faith and not in Fear. Businesses we're lost before the number reached #5 and lockdowns and shutdowns ain't stop it yet. All this monies we're spending to business's of necessities, I can't see why vat is not exempted during this time. I can't see why Government isn't giving us tax returns. I mean if your going to lock us down lock those things down too. Everyday the count is escalating which might mean more prison time for us without the possibility of regular life living parole.
