Remember guys, we need more taxes or else the country is not going to survive.

They probably don't work....as is the case with most business establishments. Nothing but a visual deterrent in most cases.

Self service pumps are the norm for most parts of the US and Canada. It won't address the root issue though, so the problem is still going to exist.

Please go finish shittying up your own country before trying to shitty ours up further. That 8.5% inflation rate is doing a great job at driving your citizens into poverty, so I would recommend you worry about stagflation and the invasion of your country instead of our invasion.

There is a special circle of Hell reserved for Bahamian politicians.

God save us from these pirates!

These Bahamian politicians really know how to swing these poor foreigners into giving them a free handout. Our representatives are masters at selling big dreams lol.

What type of nasty 40 year old man wants to be grinding one 14 year old girl anyways? I agree in general with the concept that Bahamian society is over-sexualized, but no decent man in his right mind would think that a 40 year old man juicing a 14 year old girl is in any way acceptable.

We need to bring back capital punishment for pedos.

Let me guess : we will have another news article describing how we need new taxes to keep the sinking ship afloat in a week, am I right?

Head of state and head of government are two different positions. A theoretical president would just occupy the same role as the governor general, and most likely be appointed by the PM as well.

I highly doubt that the Bahamas will ever move away from FPTP for electing governments; there is no viable third party to justify shifting to MMP or PR, neither federalization to switch to an American type of system.

Agreed 100%. I appreciate the work that NGOs do, but I can't just wave off 2 million as an "accounting error". This is not 2 thousand dollars, or even 2 hundred thousand, this is a whole 2 million that we are supposed to believe was transferred out of pure accident. Smells like BS to be honest.

I don't trust either side in this story. Both parties are composed of nothing but pirates looking for ways to line their pockets.
