I don't think the government is that naive that they are just going to pay these vendors. Of course they will do their due diligence! They are just formally letting the pubic know of the former administrations financial commitments and how dire it would have been...
We all expected this major borrowing, because we knew the PLP fucked the country up. Why did the PLP even submit a budget? They committed to 5 times that of what they budgeted for. Of course they will have o borrow to meet commitments... Get your head out of your ass.
It's not borrow like it's no tomorrow, it's more like borrow so that we can pay the debts the PLP accumulated, and also keep the country running and not get further downgraded. If the money is not in the treasury to pay the bills the must borrow to pay them or they cannot and risk defaulting and being further downgraded...
Well_mudda_sic you should be thanking all your boys for this shit hole they left us in.
BahamasforBahamians you are a new screenname likely the same person as realty_ours_mudda etc. You have a lot of time to create these additional screennames I see...
No one is denying the fact that we believe every other administration was corrupt, but when you steal multi-millions of dollars and get your country consistently downgraded you must change. Governments cannot be allowed to get away with this level of corruption. There are consequences to pay for screwing up the country on a global scale economically for the foreseeable future. "Let the chips fall, where they may.."
