Most of those Bahamians living without power can thank the PLP, who they likely voted for. Many of these issues Baha Mar BEC would not have reached this point under the FNM. The PM is finally talking about solarization! It may be the countries saving grace.
Touchy situation, as Sarkis has a very valid case. For the country we cannot afford to backtrack on Baha Mar. I am not sure what can be done but to undo the seal, even if possible would ultimately not help any party involved, including Sarkis.
By protecting local manufacturing businesses like paint and fruit juice, you decentivise them to compete on a global level. I would eliminate duty. If they are serious business men/women they will adapt and find a way to compete with sunny delight etc. All those foreign imports still have additional costs such as freight etc. Stop bailing out the lazy Bahamian mentality, and force business to compete globally!!!!
Small Birdbrain your man perry 'sissy' christie failed to pay insurance and we get slammed by a Cat 5 hurricane, AND you have the audacity to say Doc is not holding up well. Take your D- education the fuck out of here. While your at it take all the useless PLP shit ministers, such as Davis, Shane, and Fitz... If you cared one ounce about the Bahamas you would not sit here defaming the FNM. You are not Bahamian. You are plp or plop as we like to call it.
After they changed the contractor in 2012 after the PLP got into power to a shitty PLP contractor who probably got paid a buttload of money because he was buddies with Perry, Brave, or Shane and then after there was a problem. They abandoned it. 5YEARS! Give me a fucking break!
