It is so unfortunate to hear and see a place with such great potentials to become to an almost worthless status due to lack of vision of leadership.
Contracts and agreements are written to protect the culture and the people's best interest for both the present and the future. The Bahamas is full of natural resources that many desire. You do not sell your birth right. Lease, joint venture and always put clauses in for non-performance and or compliance that the people will not lose its treasures. Once land or realestate is sold its out of your right unless there are clauses. If you have those exercise them on these businesses that are depriving the people and or country. We should be enlarging our terriority and not allowing others with no good intent enlarge themselves while stagnating the country and lessening its people living standards.
My people, some hard decisions have to be made that requires wisdom and courage. If this government is for the people as they claim "It's the People's Time" they would be the "Moses and Aaron" that would lead our people to freedom from such poverty and burden placed on the country.
Learn from other countries misstakes. We are smaller than most flourishing countries yet our dollar is on par with U.S.A. that says something was done right from the start. We are at risk of losing that great value. Protect your assets my people. Ensure thise contracts/agreements are for the people at large and not the selected few and we as a nation are left with the whole in the bag.
