I note that Nottage did not level any criticism at the Attorney General nor the Deputy Attorney General whose jobs it is to safeguard evidence collected and bring charges against criminals or suspected criminals. Makes it difficult when the AG is the one under suspicion I guess.
The Turks and Caicos Deputy Police Commissioner was charged with corruption last year in an open and shut case but the JURY acquitted him at his trial. They have the same problem we do except we cant even seem to bring a charge against anyone except a poor schlepper.
PGC is very pleased that Pandora is back in the box and the cover has been nailed shut by the US Judge. Some enterprising investigative reporter should find out how those pools were paid for, or who gave the subcontract to Osprey Developers. Maybe Adam hasn't got paid yet and in turn not paid the subcontractor. But, if Osprey ends up in receivership, which is almost a certainty I think, then their financiers ( bankers ) will likely have to say ( show documents ) why they extended so much credit to them. "Well they had a contract with a US Company which had the prime contract for building Baha Mar Pools and Waterways, so we felt secure in advancing the credit."
I think that these articles and comments should be nailed to the doors of the HOA because those turds don't log in here and most don't read the paper either. Better yet, an opposition Member might like to tell the governing party and Members what the people think. Or they could take turns. We are all just preaching to the choir with these comments - all except birdiestrachan, John and Comrade TalRussell.
Obie should allow access straight through Atlantis Hotel and locals should be provided with towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. Why not - dis we country ain't it ? Ya take Baha Mar ya may as well take Atlantis too.
sheeprunner12: Baha Mar was the first choice for the PLP convention. Then they settled for Melia. Ask Big Bad Brad if they going to pay when its over. Would be the first time methinks !
I think that the Government plans to put an escalator in at that eastern access point so we Bahamians don't have to hike our fat arses up and down that steep dune ! This is a very caring government, right Comrade Tal ?
