Kisses go by favour too. To keep it all above board, John Bull got the master contract for Baha Mar shops, so some evidence may be forthcoming from that corner.

High time now for a full blown Commission of Inquiry to investigate all of this stuff that is Baha Mar, CCA, China Exim Bank. Maybe the Chinese going to do an inquiry now though and find out where the missing money is. The Trib editor says "God Don't like ugly" !!! Plenty ugly here, and I don't mean facial looks !

I think the Punch is saying that the Chinese Government is looking for some of the people named in this picture. Something to do with some missing funds. 800 Mil.

If everybody and every institution with a BEC meter, would just pay what they owe then the rest of us wouldn't have to carry the burden. How does anyone in Government have the right to waive charges to anyone. bob, bec, rpt, instead of the AG filing criminal charges against Izmirlian she needs to file charges against her Cabinet Members and anyone who is allowing slack management of government revenue. A lot of people should be in jail, instead of the House of Assembly.

Older story than past Saturday: Got to be seen to be believed. Can easily picture Baha Mar Towers face down on Cable Beach Strip.

This past Saturday, an entire apartment building in Shanghai collapsed. To be fair, the building was under construction and thus unoccupied, but it's still a minor miracle that there was only one fatality.

Sounds like there was a problem with some nearby flood prevention walls at the Dianpu River, but there's no hard evidence as to why this huge building simply fell over. Anyway, here are some sweet pictures of the architectural carnage. [Cellar.org via Twitter]

Does history repeat itself ? My mind is running on the Commission of Inquiry that looked into Hawksbill and all that. We need a Commission of Inquiry now, not a bankruptcy hearing.

Look at PGC picture. Either his clothes are small or he is swollen up like a bullfrog !!! Policeman ain't no better.

Unfortunately, as bad as it is it ain't going to end anytime soon. They have so much to hide that they can't quit now. They are like the raccoons that put their hand into the jam-jar to grab the goodies but are too stupid to let go so they can escape the cutlass coming down on their necks. Most of these will have to leave this country and seek asylum somewhere else if the people change the government because any new government will be duty bound to seek redress from this corruption. It would be God's Justice if Fred Mitchell had to seek asylum in Haiti.

And what about Christie's autistic son who got the contract for all of the swimming pools and waterways ? Subsequently sub-contracting them out. No conflict there either presumably. So everyone covering everyone else's arse. I mean ! Recall what these same people had to say about the UBP and the Bay Street Boys. It was wrong for Stafford Sands but its A. o.k. for Allison Gibson, because it ain't in her name. It just ain't that far away. Where did the daughters get the money to invest in something like this ?. You all should be impeached for wholesale corruption. Animal Farm foretold this eventuality ! The Pigs are more equal now than the rest of the animals. And we are the Animals.

The late Carlton Francis said that we would be better off as a fishing village but I cannot now recall the context. Forty two years later his stated dream is being delivered by the "new" PLP.
Tourism generally is collapsing and specifically downtown. Carnival is giving Bay Street Merchants a heads up now that come 2017 the number of ships calling in the Bahamas will be seriously curtailed. Cuba ? Who knows. Market demand or lack thereof ? Very likely.
Niche markets like fly-fishing are under siege and will disappear.
FDI has its last project in Government instituted ruins.
And Christie parades the same bloody chinkies out yesterday to try to demonstrate how tings ga be dead good soon. please !!! Sounds like a another skewed e-mail with Christie mentioning his close friend Jimmy Mosko. ( getting the contract) .No bidding process for the Chinese.
