*“I wish also to say that from what I have seen, some $8.25m has been sent through the mechanisms that I have described from the year 2013 to the end of 2015,” Mr Mitchell said.* Funny he couldn't find any information on Nygard's financial mechanisms a year earlier ! Between January and May 2012 ! But my guess is that this 5 Million went into personal bank accounts and not party accounts as a few say they didn't get !!!
"Topple the Government" as if that is a criminal activity ? It is the bounden duty of the Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition to oppose the Government and if, by opposing, the Government is toppled then the Opposition has done its job. You all could see the tide coming up around your bloody necks now, and you know it won't be long now. And then the Commission of Enquiry and who guilty, goin' up so to chill.
themessenger - John should know that all of these crooked bastards gravitate to the PLP because the PLP is crooked. Birds of a feather flock together. John should encourage the Government to order a Commission of Enquiry to look into Corruption in Government and the Civil Service and to report back before the year end 2016. If the Government has nothing to hide or be scared of they should welcome such a commission to clear them and make recommendations for the others. Someone needs to go to jail with all this stuff. The Commission needs to follow the money and if Nygard paid five million and no one below the DPM knows about it then who got the money ? All banks have records going back seven years. The last election was only four years ago now.
If he was interested in being useful he would not have split the vote and given the PLP a free ride to victory. Useful would be disbanding the DNA today. History already has your number and it is shameful. The McCartney's were a well respected family in the Bahamas from time immemorial. Not so now. You have sullied the name of the whole family. Sorry to be blunt. !!
If the police fail, with all of the evidence to hand, then the Commissioner must explain what happened and if he is complicit, or afraid, then he can also go up so for a sojourn.

Our Commissioner of Police has gone deathly quiet on all of this now. I wish he had a little shame though. Not a bit of it.
