Did CCA award the subcontract for the Pools and Waterways and if not it must have been Baha Mar, in which case we need to know who got the subcontract and who did the work. ?
birdie: You have to access the public beach from the ocean and you can go right up to the high water mark. Seaweed is usually the marker. No one is trying to stop anyone from accessing the beach that way. Nor can they. It is interesting that the Cayman Islands have kept many public access points to Seven Mile Beach but no Bahamian Government has ever seen fit to accord Bahamians the same benefit. Harbour Island has a number of public access points to its beach. Maybe our governments never thought about it that much.
Don't forget that Steffan P. Christie sold the property to the Chinese and made all the government arrangements including the work permits. *bahamians are being looked after***Strong**. Just not the common or garden ones. In other words the ones that the PLP believe in are straight and working and being handsomely paid. Doe anyone know who contracted with the Bahamian Contractors and why ? Why didn't the General Contractor do that ? And they here spending hundreds of millions of dollars and no one says squat.
The problem here is that the property is private. Atlantis revamped Montague Beach for Bahamians to use and enjoy. Goodman's Bay is reserved for Bahamians to use and enjoy. Do you want to swim or put your toes in the water and lie on the sand. The water, the sun, and the sand are exactly the same on this side as on that side. What is the problem here ?
Tal: You worryin' bout Africans under da bridge but plenty Africans and Europans buried under Harbour Bay Shopping Center. Between East Cemetery Lane and West Cemetery Lane. Da Swiss Bank chopped up East Cemetery Lane and they can't get Brave to fix it. Look like Red Carpet Inn got a building right in the road.
