The other 3 candidates were two Dr Careys. Both held Executive posts in USA Universities. The third was Dr Olivia Saunders, an excellent candidate who used to be the Dean of The School of Business, at COB, before demitting so as to finish off her PhD dissertation. She is without a doubt the best choice. As I mentioned before, Dr. Whosespeechisthat was forced to resign from Ramapo College here in New Jersey after the faculty had a vote of 'No Confidence' in his abilities. Nobody from the search committee has ever mentioned that. They don't mention that he was in charge at Sunland School in Freeport, but only lasted 8 months....

Ramapo College President Rodney D. Smith, under pressure from faculty who questioned his competence, resigned Friday after little more than two years on the job.

The resignation, announced at a routine faculty meeting, came as a surprise to many, even the president's critics.

"It was a situation where I had anticipated a lot more campus support than I got,'' Smith said in a telephone interview Friday afternoon. …

Sara, I think if you look at the article, you will find that Ramapo is no different from most of the Northeastern Colleges. The fact that Smith didn't assess the 'racist' aspect of the college before becoming President there just underscores his lack of thought.

Also, please take into account, that, as COB's president, he will have to deal with , as you say.."WHITES (sic)' on an international level. let's see what they have to think about dealing with his track record....Oh yes, one more thing...Why did he leave Sunland in Freeport so quickly?????

He received a 'financial settlement' after his last 'go round' after resigning at COB. Does he pay that back or does he make money on failure? Remember, he was asked to leave his previous position because of a vote of "no confidence'..by the faculty here in new Jersey....

What they don't tell you is that he was asked to resign from Ramapo College before coming to COB. The faculty had a vote of 'No Confidence' in him. This can be verified by contacting the New Bergen Register- the reporter was Pat Alex.. I was up in New Jersey at the time....Someone else deserves a shot at this job.
