No idea what transpired but the fact is that the young ladies being paraded and being called activists had nevet ever visited Lighthouse Point when this started. I see adult manipulation and something the Principal should never have allowed.
Was a patient in mens private ward once-------- Never again, No hot water, no bedside light, A/C blowing directly on bed, milk sour every morning, part time night nurse would probably find it difficult to blow her nose without guidance, bed sheets never changed, no internet (and guess why) It was disconnected because staff were watching to much porn .This came from a serving staff member. Yes there were several caring staff but overall a public disgrace.
One Eleuthera which is misnamed because everything that Shaun Ingraham does is in S Eleuthera has some agenda in this. Remember S Eleutherans whilst you blindly follow the herd that Mr Ingraham gets a good salary for doing his work unlike many of you.
vat, vat, vat. What about the raft of othr sneaky tax rises. If you bring a parcel in by air freight you now pa $10 customs handling tax, but then a brokerage fee to the people who actually do the papetwork. Then you pay duty and now pay VAT on the customs handling charge. Tax on tax. Tyre/ ac environmental tax. Environmental tax ????? Thrown on the dump like before.

In its day slavery was accepted and even tribal chiefs were complicit in the trade. Of course we now find this belief of using slaves disgusting and quite rightly so. However the Bahamas is an independent nation and like old Fort quite rightly says ,citizens complain about the Privy Council, yet individuals accept honors from the Queen and maintain a Parliament . I maintain that the Privy Council does not understand Bahamian culture and should not be involved as the ultimate legal decision maker. Instead of complaining and blaming the Brits do something about it and get rid of the P. Council.
Common Banker, white collar workers and politicians rarely go to jail wheras the common man or poor Bahamians get put in Fox Hill at the drop of a hat.
URCA needs to look at Cable Bahamas which knowingly charges for internet service on one family island , charges for speeds of 70mbs and actually provides less than 6 mbs -that is when it works. Not speculation but technicians evaluation.
