Mr. Miller is not an astute political analyst. But he just has to be heard. Call Collie for him.

Instead of magnifying Fred Smith's warpped opinions, this lazy reporter should have sought the true story of how the 'victims' got into the present situation, starting with who are they and from whence they came, how and by what means.

That downed BTC tower at Major's Cay Crooked Island was not properly secured to the footing. There is no evidence of welding, neither is there evidence that it was bolted to the footing. Will BTC report it's finding on this damage? Or is that NEMA's responsibility too?

Observer says...

From this photograph it appears that the superstructure was not bolted or welded to the base. If it wasn't, theb what else should be expected when it is pounded by winds of one hundred plus mph force?

Yeah, thats right; where is daddy?

The magnitude of the communication/management gap here, is greater than the danger inherent in this weather phenom. Fire the top cats immediately. Obviously, they have lost focus of the grave responsibility thats been given to them.

Catislandboy talks like those people who believe in voodoo. Their focus is fixed on the figment of their imagination. Every soul, except them, is an immoral agent who is going about in the world doing mischief to other souls.

Our parents raised us to be respectful, charitable, honest, industrious, etc, Who among us who are 60+ years old have been involved in violent crime? Our parents took their parenting responsibilities and execute then with serious resolve. There has been a departure from their methodoligies in the name of modernity. Well, one 'benefit' of modernity is lawlessness. Automatically, its a product of the 'modern' harvest. Leave national government out of the equation for prevention of crime and substitute parental governance instead. Then there will be a positive turn around in rate and intensity of criminality in our communities. Try that.

Observer says...

Are these sour critics bahamians or what? Any man can take whatever political position that he wishes. Who are we to berate another person's political philosophy? Why do you think that yours is superior? Please, empty the trash thoughts.
