Who among us was awarded a government contract for services or supplies, while serving in the cabinet in Bahamas and did not declare personal interest in or ownership of the entity that 'won' the contract?
So, public funds were expended to purchase a vehicle for the Office Of The Prime Minister of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Honestly, Bahamians, what is wrong or immoral for the Prime Minister of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas to be driven in a luxurious vehicle. It's not Mr. Christie's car; it belongs to us for the use of the holder of the office of Prime Minister. Think straight and focus on the facts that pertain thereto. Is our Bahamas Prime Minister not 'good enough' to be driven in a Mercedes vehicle. It seems our problem still is that we really believe that things are better than a person. Low self esteem is our major disease.
Is she the same person who 'operated' a securities school in the multi-storey building on the corner of Shirley and East St., south-east side several years ago?
The issue is,"are there rats or is there a rat in the general post office's work/storage space." The post master general, acting, is unsure. Boy, I smell a rat right here. Here is some free advice to any and all concerned, "a stitch in time saves nine." Don't wait for the epidemic, act now.
If this is so, that foreign investors could become jittery because of the government's initiative, then, the Bahamians and others among, with capital, could embrace the multiplicity of business opportunities that exist, right here, HOME.
Please give us, the public, the whole story of the BTC fiasco on one page, instead of little bits and pieces from persons on opposite sides of 'the fence'. The public is sufficiently intelligent to do an accurate assessment of the deal. Or, is there something to be hidden from public scrutiny?
