A good summation, but more, much more needs to be added.
We gat some jokey leaders. True.

But, stay focused on this issue, such that we can continue to keep this nation in the dark ages. Do we need any more proof that our educational system has failed?

Porcupine says...

Yes, delusional. Sorry but your facts are superficial, and wrong, at best.

Porcupine says...

It was a way to pacify people who had to deal with a ridiculous mentality, such as yours. War is stupid. And, those who support it are the like.
Who are you, or any government capable of legislating to any of us when your research is so flawed and your actions so corrupted?

Porcupine says...

Winners don't need excuses.
It seems all our government does is to make excuses for really, really poor performance.
Most government employees, and politicians here, could never work for a properly functioning organization or business anywhere. Not because they are not capable. But because they have never had to perform up to a reasonable standard. This is a nationwide problem.

Someone said,"The Bahamian people have to now resort to this chaos, business in the yard. No bathroom facilities, nothing, it’s just horrible, it’s just disgusting, it’s demeaning to Bahamians, and it’s a reflection on the attitudes of these governments, that the Bahamian people are insignificant, they mean nothing.“

Is this not the attitude of government? Do A New Day or The people's Time mean anything?
This is the reality. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Get used to it.

A wonderful idea to give the criminals at the top more power.
This is part of the plan to consolidate more power at the top.
The very top who are the root of the problem.
We know where the fish starts to rot from.
Those who are at the top of our society are the ones we need to worry about.
Giving them more power and agency will only makes things worse.
We want a quick fix to a problem that has been brewing for decades now.
It is the political class, the police force, the financial leaders and the pastors who have led us down this road. Are they not the worst criminals?
And, an educational system that guarantees that we do not possess the sense to see this clearly.

Porcupine says...

Absolutely right. But, we done gone already.

Porcupine says...

The real danger to Bahamian society is not the loss of tourists, but the politicians we presently have in positions of power.
I cannot see a one of them who gives a damn about The People.
Each one of them seems only to want to grab as much as they can for themselves.
Then we do a shite shuffle every 5 years as if it will change anything.

Porcupine says...

And just who is surprised at these transgressions against the people?
Did some thinking person, over the course of their lifetime, see The Bahamas heading in a positive direction?
Where does the fish rot from first?
Okay then.
