Why does a small country like The Bahamas need to pay 7 people to be in Haiti in the first place?
Why do most Bahamians I know much prefer to hire Haitians rather than their fellow Bahamians?
This is true, isn't it?
Why are we bashing Haiti when even a cursory look at out own statistics show quite clearly we are a failed country of the brink of what our own PM calls refugees?
Please, someone like godspeed, show me where The Bahamas excels? Show me one instance of where our own leaders give a hint of actual evidence of where they are looking out for the Bahamian people.
You can't.
The Bahamas is living on borrowed time and money.
Anyone standing up to claim otherwise is supremely ignorant.

I am all for Bahamians participating in all sports.
However, the growing amount of medical science pointing to football as a major source of brain injuries and other physical injuries should be cause for alarm.
The Bahamas can't afford to endure, treat, or suffer from more brain injuries.
We are currently maxed out on brain disfunction in this country.
Take a look at Parliament.
Read the daily papers.
Our cognitive functions are already at an all time low.
The Bahamas can excel in other sports without enduring the violence and brain injuries associated with American football.

BTC is an absolute failure and should be prosecuted for fraud.
I have well more than 15 years of documented complaints.
Always promising they will fix the problem, they have done nothing while one manager is replaced by another.
BTC has utterly failed Andros.
URCA is useless.
The definition of fraud is quite clear.
Our government could not care less, it seems.
Bahamians have dropped the ball in allowing a foreign entity to buy and control a company our lifeline to business and the outside world.
Those who arranged the sale of BTC, instead of hiring a competent manager for our #1 cash cow, should be in jail.
The cost to The Bahamas of this failed business strategy is likely to cost us hundreds of millions of dollars.
And, we have done nothing intelligent to fix this problem.
Nothing!!!!

Sorry to say this, but we get what we pay for.
Most doctors and nurses need to make a living too.
Why would they stay in a place that pays them poorly?
Let's look at this tragedy from both sides.
There is a lot WE could do to improve this situation.
We talk and talk and talk.

Perhaps we should go back to basics.
The Bahamas lacks the overall education, work ethic and leadership to even get by.
Anyone looking at the true state of this country cannot but help see failure written on every page.
The financial "industry" is just more of the same.
We want to prosper by talking instead of doing.
The level of productivity in this country is a turnoff for anyone witnessing it.
We always, always have our hand out, waiting for a passing country, or company, to give alms.
We are not serious. This is not a crime. But, why would others take us seriously?
We are a country of children.

More than hearing about Tribune, we need to act.
We have talked ourselves to death, yet nothing in this country gets done.
We must become the change we want to see.
So far, we have not done a thing. Nada.
Only talk, and beg.

Yes, things are tough here for everyone.
Not just the business person.
When incompetent and greedy people assume positions of power, either in government, or in business, this is what happens.
Look at the U.S. A dysfunctional system ruled by a group of lying incompetent morons, the Republican party, who are completely captured by business.
A recent headline shouted the fact that almost all of the gains in productivity and profits went to the top 1% over the last decade. Fair? Christian? A natural phenomenon?
The thing that is really lacking, globally, is education. Especially lacking is the knowledge that all governments are compromised by the world's richest people.
The Bahamas is again, a perfect example.
What exactly is working for "the people"?
Very little.
But, if you are politically connected, the world is your oyster.
Due to ignorance, these cruelties will continue.
Were "the people" educated, I cannot imagine one present leader, not one, who would be voted back into office.
The elected politicians we have in place the world over, work for the rich.
Just like here in The Bahamas.
But, then we have those, who, while rich, continue to cry about socialist policies and programs.
The statistics clearly show that the rich own the world and our standards of living, as well, due solely to greed.
Greed. Do we understand that word?
Do we understand why education is in the condition it is in?
There are accidents in the world. The state of the economy is not one of them.
Our politicians, all politicians for the most part, are severely compromised and intellectually delusional.
Change is inevitable. Who is choosing our path forward?
Those continuing to take out big loans and giving us nothing in return?

We lack the education to realize what we are doing to this country.
Our politicians seem to have at best, a high school education.
This does not cut it.
We are shrinking our economy with taxation.
At some point, there will be nothing left to tax.
Business people who look at the numbers, will give up because the numbers simply don't work.
Soon, all that will be left here are liquor stores and web shops.
Ignorance is bliss as they say.
Here in The Bahamas, it is a religion.
