"without cause" says it all. "A mob of crazy, hysterical environmentalists" Exactly what pill have you taken whereby your love of money has allowed you to destroy your soul? And you want to threaten our fisheries, our waters, our livlihoods. Get lost.
Not only do you have no problem with polluting our waters, you come here using names like Lynden P to pollute our democracy, our minds and this paper. Low lives is what most people would refer to you as. Leave this country alone.
I have seen a letter, dated today, from the US Congress addressed to Prime Minister Minnis and Minster of Environment Romauld Ferreria. asking them to reconsider the deal with BPC. Their arguments are strong and well founded. This nonsense needs to stop, and BPC needs to become persona non grata in The Bahamas. Clearly, the pressure and protest must be focused directly at Dr. Minnis and Mr. Ferreria. This is too serious a matter for this country to be politically correct. Look at history. What will it take to insure justice is done for our kids? Defense Force boats need to be en route to escort this ship from Bahamian waters.
An absolutely spot on letter. We must do whatever it takes to get justice. Prime Minister needs to address the Bahamian people on every point this letter raises. Their must be serious consequences to the Minnis capitulation to BPC. This is not just another dirty dealby the Bahamian goverment. If Minnis fails to oust the oil drillers, we must oust him.
I just cannot believe that we continue to listen to these morons who argue that drilling for oil in The Bahamas is desirable, even acceptable. It is no less than a crime, knowing what we know today. Is moron not politically correct enough?
