Ten year US treasury bonds trade at less than 2% yield. It looks like we have come to the end of the road as to how much the government can borrow. Davis must immediately implement a program of cost reduction and increase tax collection compliance.
The problem is that when you give politicians one dollar, they spend two, when you give them two dollars they spend four etc. as we have seen with VAT.
Good luck with that. And BTW the government is largely responsible for this with all the rules and regulations they have put in place....
How about about having government give 24 hours service for work permits, passports, business licenses, post delivery, visas, etc.? Have you been able to get anything out of the registry lately?
