These FNMs nowadays are the epitome of weak sauce. Why would the Chairman of the FNM need to insult and take digs at his party's former leader and the nation's former PM just to make a point about what the FNM may or may not be doing now? Who does that? What's so ignorant about that is his party's base are supporters of their former leader so exactly who does he think he is hurting by being so limp wristed? If the FNM has something to offer the nation now, simply tell us what that is instead of taking up newspaper space to let us know how obsessed you are with another man. This is a key reason the FNM is so weak today. They cannot and will not build on one another's strengths and abilities, they instead seek out every opportunity possible to pull one another down.

Both of them are guilty of this quite honestly.

@Cobalt It is blindingly obvious that person has no exposure and does not travel.

Publius says...

@bandit surely you cannot be serious. Is your travel experience limited to Walmart on University Drive? It has to be to ask a question like that. The Port of Nassau is a joke compared to many cruise ports in the Caribbean. Anyone who is well traveled, myself included, knows that to be a fact.

Didn't even read the article; only saw the headline and to it I ask, who really cares?

Publius says...

That's because it was never a true priority to begin with and the Budget items in this regard over the last few years is clear cut evidence of that.

Speaking of what he is "comfortable" with, I wonder if Mr. Symonette is comfortable with the country knowing just how deep a connection with the DNA he has had. I guess not, because then Bahamians would understand even more how much these politicians have been playing and continue to play with our lives.

I guess Turnquest does not know he sits on the most powerful Committee of the Parliament (PAC) and that a Select Committee can only be formed if the House votes yes for it to be formed. Obviously that will not happen in this case.
