I don't fear them, though one would swear that the "Men from New Zealand" gave birth to this idea in the first instance. My colleagues in the business sector have said this already and repeatedly. And then ofcourse many of us just want the bloody VAT idea to be done away with altogether. Is "foreign consultant" the "open sesame" of the Bahamas?

National lotteries, funded mostly by lower-income persons, dont run countries. If a want-to-be leader is not discussing realistic spending cuts and anti-corruption measures (since corruption is a multi-million dollar expense to any nation), then a want-to-be leader is not discussing anything new or worth the lead headline this was given.

That law was just a stunt anyway, a "legacy" act Nottage carried out during the time he was sick and feeling his mortality and wanting to be able to say that he actually kept one promise before he exited the planet
