> We have been able to reduce the number of houses from 600 to 400
What does this actually mean? Does this actually and truly mean there was a proposal to have as much as 600 numbers houses operating but they cut the proposal down to 400? The media needs to learn to pay attention to what they are being told instead of simply printing, unbalanced, what they think they are being told. I don't see how anyone in The Bahamas could believe that 200 numbers houses that were open and operational have closed. Where? When? These politicians get away with saying virtually anything unchecked.
A total of 7 guys were in that room, and there is currently no evidence to suggest that the person who died was the intended target, so why would you raise the "good son" inference at this time?
> environment Minister Kenred Dorsett said yesterday that his ministry is not considering any applications for aragonite mining in Andros at this time.
Considering the person who is making this statement and his antecedents, let's ask the question again about aragonite mining in The Bahamas.
> If they had to give 500 residencies to high worth individuals that's fine
Actually it is not fine, because that is not the law with respect to the granting of permanent residencies. Permanent residencies are not granted simply because you supposedly have or are worth a certain amount of money. I understand your point, but it is not fine to grant something like PRs in contravention of the law.
Of course. It was never a real threat in the first place; simply a move for some TV to impress dues-paying union members so the dues will continue to come in.
No citizenship was **offered**, but was it **granted**? That's the key here. No, you didn't **offer** it, they asked for it. So did you grant it, or not? After all these years, the media and these so-called politicians still do not catch when they are being lawyered?

Yes, that's **if** you do so according to the law. Your stated criteria was personal worth, not actual investment.
