> Just like Perry Christie he thirsts for power. Unlike Christie he has no clue how to obtain it (and hold onto it). Just like the PLP, he treats the public like fools.

**Good God**

> FREE National Movement (FNM) Leader Dr Hubert Minnis yesterday admitted that he met with Livingston “Toggie” Bullard, one of two men named in an affidavit filed in court by Save the Bays (STB) as being allegedly hired by Peter Nygard to commit criminal acts.

So, one the "criminals" he assailed in the House of Assembly before claiming to want a police investigation, is one of his associates, as revealed later in this story. He never revealed that he knew one of the alleged assailants personally - we all know why. He didn't think the information would ever come out that would force him to reveal this information.

> “One of the chaps, ‘Toggie’, called me, a constituent,

When did Bain Town become part of Killarney?

> Dr Minnis said he did not know what Mr Pintard’s meeting was about, but he did warn the former senator not to go to any sit down.

Must think we are a$$es, and this shameless lie actually further hurts Pintard, because if he really did call Pintard to warn him and Pintard, as we know, still met with these guys more than once, then it suggests that Pintard had a motive in this far and above what he is publicly claiming. So this guy calls you and then shows up to your house because this warning is supposedly so important, yet he never tells you what the matter is actually about. Minnis must think everyone is as moronic as he is.

> Three weeks after Dr Minnis’ initial meeting with Mr Bullard, the man called him after a fishing trip and dropped off some of his catch. Dr Minnis said during that encounter the two men talked about fish and had a casual conversation. Dr Minnis said his wife, Patricia, was also present and asked Mr Bullard about his family. He said he met Mr Bullard a third time when the self-proclaimed gang member again brought him fish.

Sure, because that's what people you are not connected to or personally associated with do, come by your house repeatedly, bring you their personal catches and chat with your wife about the family.

And this is the man who has the nerve to be calling for anyone to step down, when he and his chairman are the only politicians on proven record and by their own admission as having met with these criminals on more than one occasion? This is simply beyond. I'm guessing that "fish" is a euphemism for something else!

This guy doesn't even have any affidavits, he has a "transcript" typed up from somewhere by someone. ha. These guys are ridiculous, the lot of them. And Rollins is the biggest stooge because nothing he says comes from him. He is always somebody's waterboy in the Parliament.

> It doesn't matter who leads the FNM or the PLP into the next election - it will be the same old sh*t from both parties. What Bahamas needs is a complete eradication of the tribal politics that has retarded the country's growth since independence.

You have missed the point entirely. If his story were true, **he** would be saying he has committed a crime. If the story is false then he is guilty of committing a crime - it is called counseling to commit murder and suborning perjury. Either way, it is sad that the FNM, which is supposed to be better, is not showing itself to be that at a time when it is so critical for the FNM to have nothing at all to do with such a scandal or any scandal for that matter.

Well I have voted for a very long time but this will be the first time in all my adult years that, if the election were called today, I cannot in good conscience vote for either of the two major parties. Voting for the DNA would also not be a viable option in my mind if I had to go to the polls right now. Will anything change between now and election time? Who knows. But as it currently stands, it does not look like my vote will be counted sadly.

Add that to "I am not obligated to report a crime to the police". Add that to, "I dont need to resign, Bradley Roberts didn't" and it all equals - **I am exactly like the PLPs**. Pintard's own government made what he has allegedly done illegal by introducing the offense of accessory after the fact into law back when they were last in office. We are obligated to report a crime we have evidence of to the police. He not only claims to have known about the crime of murder conspiracy, but also went ahead and conducted business in furtherance of that supposed knowledge. That is a crime if what he claims is true, and the irony is that so far, he would be the only one on tape caught committing one if what he claims, is true. It is such a shame what the FNM is doing to itself with these guys they now have at the helm, against the backdrop of all the destruction the PLP is causing.

Now it is obvious that you have not read a single court filing in this matter. Prime Minister Christie is not mentioned at all in Fred & Co's filed affidavits as you claim regarding Nygard, Brave is, and it was in connection with his alleged activities with alleged conspiracies to intimidate and assault certain individuals. Where in Fred's filing's is the Prime Minister accused of anything to do with a relationship with Nygard, as you claim he is? He is not so accused. More of us have got to graduate from a reliance on Facebook and website comment sections and actually read what is going on. This entire charade that has hurt the nation's reputation (which is all I care about as I could not care less about the politicians on any side) is unraveling and it is a shame to see what Bahamians will do at the beck and call of a miscreant foreigner with some cash.

Publius says...

Did you? Fred & Co know those affidavits they filed of those fellas are blowing up in their face now, that is why Fred is saying what he is saying about Brave doing nothing wrong. Otherwise he would have taken issue with the Tribune from day one for reporting substantially on Brave's connection to this matter if Fred truly believed at first that that was a misrepresentation of his case. You might as well give up trying to swear for Pintard and as for your party's leader that you dislike so strongly, you won't believe what move he took this week in relation to this. You will have more to vent about on social media soon I would imagine. ha! What a time in this country.
