There's something deeper going on here. The national trust is hiding something behind this. They are hypocrites- they raised hell about lighthouse point going to foriegners, yet they are giving away our oldest park to albany; that don't make any sense... And I guarantee it ain't for any sort of substantial amount- otherwise they'd be proud to boast what sort of compensation they were getting in turn for handing over the park. Explain to the people! I can't afford to buy any drink from an albany bar...
That is absolutely ridiculous. They claim this park runs at a 300k deficit. $300,000 is nothing when the parks is home to Johnny Depp, Tyler Perry, the Aga Khan, etc. 300k should be EASY to fundraise when you have those sorts of donors to tap into. Especially given the amount of people the BNT employ, their connections, their resources, etc...
