Members of the diplomatic community the world over have never taken Fred seriously about anything. They will tell you that he's been on the butt end of many good jokes made behind his back at international conferences and meetings. He's literally seen to be, much to the embarrassment of our country within the international community, nothing but a laughingstock! The U.S. government has in fact documented him to be an individual steeped in racist beliefs with strong anti-American sentiments.....and the whole world knows that to be true!
Repost: Yes, our government will end up owning 100% of BoB, assuming National Insurance gets reimbursed by government for the $33 million is was wrongly required to invest in BoB at a time when BoB was known to be technically insolvent. It seems that only after a prolonged period of unnecessary continuing operating losses, will our new government finally realize the taxpayer bailouts of BoB are unsustainable and BoB must be properly liquidated. By that time though, mega-millions more of taxpayers' dollars will have been needlessly pissed away in the form of more bailouts to a dead bank that can never be resuscitated or resurrected, no matter what our new government may do. Minnis and KP have succumbed to poor advice on how to best deal with BoB from the standpoint of the interests of both taxpayers and the non-government stakeholders. What our new government has done by endorsing Christie's failed Bahamas Resolve model is politically daft by any measure to say the least!

Perhaps Damian Gomez, QC, Wayne Munroe, QC, and Anthony McKinney, QC, would better serve our country by providing legal representation on a pro bono basis to the more egregiously wrongful detainee cases as opposed to 'donating' their time in defending the likes of Shane Gibson.
This brain dead self-confessed woman slapper not too long ago wanted to make our country's electrical power needs dependent on supplies of oil from Venezuela. Just think where we would be today had that silly and foolish idea been given the time of day!
The very corrupt and greedy Snake already controls the supply of fuel to bpl/bec. Our much higher electricity bills are mainly due to the much higher cost of fuel that BPL/BEC purchases from Snake's fuel supply enterprises. Snake is raking in record profits on his sale of higher priced fuel to bpl/bec. He is laughing all the way to the bank as he pockets millions and millions of dollars in profits derived from our much higher electricity bills.
Let's just all hope and pray Minnis didn't cut a deal during his election campaign with Red China controlled enterprises for the upgrade of our electrical generation and grid system. Red China would love to be involved in this project as it would enable them to cement their control over our country.....we would then see our lights go off forever!
