I read the comment posted by 'Well_mudda_take_sic' before Crooked Christie had someone call The Tribune to force its removal. What 'Well_mudda' revealed about the relationships between Bank of The Bahamas, Crooked Christie and Flea Infested Woman Slapper Miller was absolutely astounding to say the least! 'Well_mudda' is clearly on the "inside" of most of what's been happening in our country in recent years. The information he has at hand must be well connected to CIA operatives planted deeply within the corrupt administration led by Crooked Christie. I was flabbergasted by what 'Well_mudda' revealed in his posting and frankly believe he is a superior investigative journalist to any reporter or editor currently on staff at our local daily newspapers. I can't help but wonder if 'Well_mudda' understands that for several years now he has been a key voice behind online driven revenue for The Tribune. Readers have been signing on to The Tribune's website to read 'Well_mudda's' comments more so than the related articles written by The Tribune's reporters. Perhaps 'Well_mudda' should be sending The Tribune a bill for his services in increasing The Tribune's advertising revenue based on hits to their website.

Many of us will needlessly die if we become dependent on the corrupt greedy likes of Frank Smith, Herbert Brown, Sir Snake and others like them being in charge of the direct procurement of our drugs and other medicines from low cost pharmaceutical enterprises located in countries like Red China. The production of low cost counterfeit drugs and other medicines is a thriving illegal industry worldwide! Blatant instances of fraud, waste and outright theft attributable to the corrupt Christie-led PLP government have run our country into the ground, even resulting in the effective bankruptcy of our National Insurance Fund which is today nothing more than a ponzi scheme waiting to collapse. With all of this in mind, we can ill-afford having Crooked Christie's cronies now being placed completely in charge of our healthcare needs. Our corrupt government politicians and their cronies like to pick the winners and losers in our society; but in the case of our healthcare needs this would boil down to them deciding on who should get their medications in order to live and who should go without their medications in order to die! it just doesn't get any more frightening than that!!

You forgot to mention the government can't even run the post office. Many of us will needlessly die if we become dependent on the government directly procuring our medications from pharmaceutical enterprises. The more likely outcome of this fiasco in the making is that the Bahamian government will decree that a high percentage of UB's admissions must be Bahamians who have received a D- education from our public elementary and secondary school systems. Once achievement based on academic merit is thrown out the window, better educated foreign students will quickly realise that obtaining a watered-down D- education from UB isn't worth the degree parchment it's written on.

Love the pic, but seeing it sent a fearful shudder down my spine!

You're so right on this important point. And let's not forget that the U.S. government now takes great joy in telling Fweddy Boy Mitchell whenever he gets out of line to just put it in his pipe and smoke it! Poor Fweddy has absolutely no standing in the global diplomatic community anymore.....diplomats of other countries have been laughing at him behind his back for years now. He doesn't even realize it because he is so full of himself. What a laughing stock he has become internationally, much to the embarassment of the Bahamian people.

Who in their right mind would spend a fortune in taxes on a new car in the Bahamas today given the very poor quality of most roads? The moment you drive a new car off the dealer's lot it is worth at most half of what you paid for it and much less than what you owe the bank. This is one of the reasons why the greedy business model of the consumer banks is doomed to eventual failure in a big way, especially as the middle-class in our country continues to shrink at an ever increasing pace.

Bowe does indeed seem to be groveling for Crooked Christie to annoint him a candidate in a safe PLP constituency for the next general election. The Chamber of Commerce is certainly being short changed by his obvious wannabe politician itch!

Me thinks this darling little white haired poodle doth protest too much! We can bank on the fact that this annoying little Yapper is just another wannabe politician with a big mouth who likes the sound of his voice. If elected by the Montagu voters, he would quickly turn his attention to serving his own personal interests and those of his business cronies, many of whom live in Lyford Cay and have very little in common with the good decent people of Montagu.

With all of the debris now piled mountains high at the public dump, the next uncontollable landfill fire will produce levels of toxic smoke guaranteed to virtually kill many thousands of Bahamians, especially the very young, the vulnerable old and all those with respiratory illnesses caused by highly toxic fumes from previous landfill fires.
