Nothing like one fat pig extending kudos to the other. Do the gals a favor, be leaders and drop some weight. Show some restraint and fortitude in your lifestyles. Everything else is lip service.

This woman seems not to be able to go away quietly in the night. She eludes to the timing of the convention as the reason for her loss. She needs to get over it and move on.

Yeah and like the majority of the police force, she is in top physical shape to chase the criminals down.

This man has more arrogance than those combined of the three prime ministers of this nation. That is a very scary prospect!

After the weekend long feasting BLT retreats to rest her nerve and disappointment, she will have the next week to reflect on how she now deals with the Mangrove Bush deity of the FNM in Long Island. Whilst this group supports the FNM publicly, they do love the contracts the PLP throw their way. However, given her ladyship's new situation and Mangrove Bush's demand for access to power, trips beyond the confines of Cape Santa Maria are now in order for her to retain her seat. The north has no time for her so this is a good start for her to saunter up those hills and see all in their homes all the way to Gordons. This endeavor will not only potentially save her seat but her health as well.

Tommy Turnquest was sure a winner leading the FNM with his passion and vision.

Either way the FNM will have a battle. The PLP would be a dream come true opponent in a general election for a truly organized opposition party with charismatic and intelligent leaders . If Minnis wins, BLT will not follow quietly as her actions to date have indicated. This will cause serious problems for Minnis. If BLT wins, it is highly questionable if she has the physical fortitude to meet the demands of running a general election. The only way possible is if she recruits Ingraham to do it for her. He gave her two very safe seats. BLT has no idea how to contest a difficult seat let alone a general election.

What "racist undercurrents"? If anything, there may be religious innuendo regarding those who breed like rabbits. I know of no other nations of a few hundred thousand that have an immigration policy which allows tens of thousands to immigrate illegally, procreate and utilize health, welfare and educational resources. You are certainly no true "grassroot" for if you were, you would have a concern for this nation's culture, heritage and future.

Absolutely. On many occasions and it is for the most part a thankless task. Dedication to slamming the government for protecting the borders, albeit very late in the day, is not an act of generosity to Bahamians by an expat in his or her adopted home.
