Absolutely unbelievable that the government doesn't have enough smarts to know not to dilute our high-end destinations with mass cruise tourism.
It is also an insult to our intelligence for them attempting to bullshyt us with terms like "luxury line" and "butler-serviced penthouses"! **nonsense for jackass consumption**
The cruise industry came up with the product idea to benefit themsElves. As usual, they have no regard for what's best for the Bahamas....And as usual, the government didn't have enough sense to protect the Bahamas.
Very sad reality that obviously those in the countries leadership rolls do not understand tourism!
If vaccine passports or proof of vaccination will be required for travel, why would Bahamian tourism workers need to take the vaccine if all the guest are already vaccinated from the virus?
The cruise industry doesn't give a hoot about the Bahamas. All they care about is profits! It is absolutely astounding the government would even consider making Harbour Island a cruise-ship stop.
Obviously, someone here has no idea what they are doing by even considering diluting a high-end tranquil product with mass tourism.
There is no middle road. Keep cruise ships away from Harbour Island, Treasure Cay, Whale Cay, and other islands that cater to high-end travelers.
Coconut water, lime juice, a splash of gin and vitamin D probably has more efficacy than this vaccine! Given their history of scamming the masses, trusting big pharma is not an option!
