Strictly from a businessman point of view, donated goods not properly channeled through NEMA should be quickly, and automatically channeled through to government-authorized organizations for identification and assignment for delivery to localized distributors in areas of need.
There is no acceptable reason for any confusion or delays!
NEMA should be focusing on simply "further forwarding" donated goods to recognized organizations on the ground with administrative and distribution ability to get donated goods to people in need.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, all for naught! PM Minnis has stupidly allowed himself to be dragged into the pit of assholeness with wholesale rejected Hubert Ingraham and Perry Christie!
Bahamians unceremoniously dumped Hubert Ingraham and Perry Christie for their asinine stupidity, collaborative corruption, and obvious lack of concern for the well being of average Bahamians, so why the hell is PM Minnis wasting time talking to these two useless has-beens that are responsible for "leading" the country to a $8B debt, and into the ditch???
Only in the Bahamas would these two clowns be called "heroes" for destroying a nation!
Spineless Dr. Minnis learned a valuable lesson from Hubert Ingraham and Perry Christie.
**"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas"!**
If Minnis was man enough to follow through with his campaign promise to root out corruption in the country instead of the asinine stupidity of offering to make these two well-known clowns "heroes", Ingraham and Christie would not have been in the position today attempting to make him look like a fool!
Hubert Ingraham and Perry Christie are unquestionably 100% responsible for decades of unbridled corruption, our $8B debt, encouraging and facilitating the Haitian invasion and running the country into the ditch!
What could these two colossal failures possibly have to offer Minnis that could be of any assistance? We need Ingraham and Christie back as much as we Dorian back!
For the love of JESUS, please do not mention that clowns name and let sleeping idiots lie. Fred is the only person I wished Dorian would cause to disappear.
Bahamian tax payers are now burdened with the responsibility of the well being of 10's of 1000's of illegal Haitians and not one peep about any financial assistance from the Haitian government for their own people!
To add insult to injury, Haitians are the cause for strained U.S. relations resulting in Bahamians loosing the privilege of ease of travel to the U.S. `in our greatest tim e of need.
The Dominicans' did the right thing in deporting Illegal Haitians. Unfortunately, the PLP and FNM do not have what it takes to protect the Bahamas for Bahamians!!
"Most of the people at the New Providence shelters appear to be of Haitian descent." Haitians are dragging the Bahamas down to Haiti status! .
The Bahamas is headed for doom and gloom because of Haitians. The U.S. can't trust us any more because we don't know who is here thanks to the PLP and FNM!!
These people went through hell, and have horrific stories. However, none of them can tell us why they were stupid enough to decide to ride out a Cat-5 hurricane!
I can understand if they were caught unawares, but these folks actually just sat down home watching while a forecasted monster storm crept to their front doors.,
I am very happy they survived an unnecessary situation.
