Astonishing that in a place globally known as a corrupt pirate laden country, the government cannot find one crook!

The PLP is not 100% responsible for the political injustices and piracy the country suffers.

If the FNM began by looking within themselves, they would have found several pirates in both parties.

These people are suffering "long time" genuine grievances!

Add the frustrations of BPL and BTC's less than desirable services to this equation, and the only real big surprise here is why thousands more Bahamians aren't protesting!

LOL....Oh how quickly Leslie and Davis forgot that the voters are not as stupid as they are!

SP says...

Blah, blah, blah, blah. Successive administrations have repeatedly wasted time having this conversation with the D.R.

Obviously, the Dominicans consider Bahamians the same as Haitians.

Enough talk. The Bahamas would get their undivided attention if we followed Cuba's lead and simply open fire on any poachers found in our waters and burn and sink any boats caught!

We cannot expect to fix 40 years of corruption in 5 years. However, we do expect to have those PLP & FNM's responsible held accountable for destroying our country!

These people absconded with tons of the peoples' money and should be brought to justice just like anyone else.

How the hell does a person live on $210.00 per week? Even the proposed $250-$300 per week is not a livable wage in this country!

Every time I hear people commenting that Bahamians steal too much, I wish they would put themselves in the average Bahamians shoes and try to figure out how to survive on $250.00 per week. I certainly couldn't do it and wouldn't want to try!

It is unfair and hypocritical to grossly underpay people, forcing them to supplement income by stealing to survive meagerly, then condemn them for stealing.

Business owners are the real thieves with their huge houses, rental apartments, high-end cars, yachts, and expensive clothing, and excessive travel are the real culprits **stealing from the staff** by underpaying them to support lavish lifstyles!

SP says...

The plp and fnm are equally responsible for the BPL mess and several others!

50 years of "self-rule" by these self-serving pirates have us $8B in debt, unemployed, under-educated, suffering without reliable power and phone services, and overwhelmed with expats repatriating money to home countries to the extent of destroying the commercial banking industry and ruining the economy!

**Peter is no better than Paul!** It took both PLP & FNM to "lead" us to where we now find ourselves.

Bahamians should be rioting in the streets demanding accountability!!

SP says...

Maynard is the epitome of a useless PLP stooge!

"A record-breaking seven million visitors coming to The Bahamas" and there is still marginally nothing for them to do here!

Where are the native shows, night clubs, dinner shows, day trips, etc?

The only reason the Bahamas is flourishing and has succeeded to date in tourism is our proximity, and the tourist feels more comfortable, safer and can move about freely without being hassled here than many other competing destinations.

tourism Minister Dionisio D’Aguilar has absolutely **no clue** what caused the increase! He needs to admit his ignorance and find ways of increasing in-resort spend by encouraging Bahamians to get involved in new innovative ventures to provide new tours, excursions and entertainment for visitors.

Stop the blah, blah, blah, and get to work!!

It's just business as usual for Haitians. Surprisingly, the Bahamas couldn't implicate anybody for colluding with their Haitian counterparts in a corrupt business that could not have succeeded without Bahamian officials involvement!
