Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, Lewis legal team knew he was caught red handed with no escape route.

As part of the plea deal, $50M cash settlement in leu of jail time was negotiated prior to Lewis turning himself in.

Nobody with an ounce of sense would believe otherwise.

Many MP's are guilty of not disclosing. However, not one MP has ever been fined for non disclosure.

Sounds like a joke to me!

It all starts at the Cabinet level and trickles down to everywhere else! Nothing will change until systematic corruption is dealt with.

This has been going on across the political spectrum for decades. Law's are only for the average citizens. They obviously do not apply to corrupt politicians.

All political leaders have so many skeletons in their closets they are unable to enforce the law!

This is exactly why every former African French Colony has recently decoupled from France, and kicked their ambassadors and military out of the entire African Sahel Region!

Now that BRICS+ financial services are in full swing, we don't need to bow to the EU bullshyt anymore.

Thank GOD for China, Russia, Iran, and the rise of the Global South BRICS+ players!

It would be interesting to know what percentage of these slayings and shooting can be contributed to Haitian gang activity.

As usual, the government will not admit to the problem until it is well past the crisis stage.

WHY? This is the elephant question in the room! People don't just target someone for murder without cause.

Former FNM MP Don Saunders had to have done "something to someone" for them decide to take him out.

We may never know the real details, but definitely, someone had a grudge against Saunders.

@ John - What criteria did you refer to arrive at the conclusion "but the Majority of police officers on the RBPF are hardworking and dedicated officers"?

Among Bahamians with decades of interaction with the police, the general consensus is the police are the second biggest gangsters and thugs in the country only surpassed by politicians!

Trusting the police or politicians has never been a good idea.
