PM Hubert Minnis now has sights on 2022 election? Let's see if Minnis learned anything from Lynden Pindling having his sights on 1992 election, Hubert Ingraham having his sights on 2012 election and Perry Christie having his sights on 2017 election.
Neither of these three stooges had enough humility to listen to the wants and needs of the electorate!
LOL...Smart ass Rupert Roberts predominantly hired all Haitians as cashiers and now they are breeding like cockroaches as Haitians do and taking him to the cleaners!
**G_O_O_D!**
I hope the dam Haitians he loves so much continue to cost him big!!
Exactly why I absolutely refuse to vacation in the U.S. with my family. The responding cops could have just as easily begun shooting the "niggers" first before asking questions!
Had something like this happened here, the U.S. embassy would have immediately issued a travel warning for U.S. citizens to avoid the Bahamas and Bahamians. When will we begin issuing travel warnings to protect Bahamians traveling to the U.S.?
There is far too much racial tension in the U.S. at the moment and too many other countries in the region where I don't need to worry about this type of stupidity or my kids being shot by some trigger happy red neck cop!
Has anyone else asked the question why does PM Minnis consider himself a scientist? Based on Oxford definition, I cannot make ends meet to classify him as a scientist.
So "Da marijuana committee dem" is to be given responsibility for holding town hall meetings seeking to create a report on conclusions that **"real scientists"** from 1st world countries have closed debate on years ago?
According to PM Minnis, The Bahamas will not look to capitalize on cannabis legalization as a source of revenue notwithstanding the facts that the Bahamas continues to be flat broke, Billions in debt and suffering massive unemployment with absolutely no tangible end in sight to alleviate either of these problems!
Meanwhile, right next door, our nearest neighbor the U.S. legal marijuana industry is booming estimating 121,000 jobs in 2017, and that national marijuana sales will rise to $11 billion in 2018, and to $21 billion in 2021.
What is left for the geniuses at "Da marijuana committee & dem" to consider reporting on? Why aren't we making bold initiatives like Uruguay, U.S., Canada, and Jamaica, to become leaders in the legal marijuana industry? Why are we always reinventing the wheel?
Unquestionably Roland Symonnet did some good for the country, however, he was also a victim of time and circumstance as racism and segregation were the order of the day in the U.S.A. and carried over to the Bahamas.
Like Adolf Hitler, Roland Symonnet should be remembered for the good he did as well as the bad. He did run a racist regime and certainly is a far cry away from a hero status.
