Witnesses in the trials of both Carlos Lehder, a founder of the Medellin drug cartel in Colombia, and Gen. My having personally always been a swing voter with absolutely no allegiance to any party, the PLP has lost ALL political currency and relevance their last time around. They will ALWAYS be associated with corruption and equally identified as a criminal organization as is the UBP morphed former fnm!

As Nassau was ripe for more shore excursions, it was a no-brainer for Kerzner to throw in a high-yielding water theme park mainly targeting 4+ million passengers from the cruise industry.
Freeport and Grand Bahama are ripe and easy to do.....I stop.
The "conviction to a fine and to a term of imprisonment of not less than six months and not more than three years ” for being in possession of property or a pecuniary resource disproportionate to ones known sources of income, and a six months prison sentence for public officials not to disclose their knowledge of people “likely to be engaged in an act of corruption” seems extremely lenient for people found guilty of crimes against the state.
They will find many of these pirates are lifelong career criminals spanning decades of illicit activity and corruption.
The punishment should be on a sliding scale commensurate with the length of time of the crime.
