Actually, in the photo finish it appears more than likely that Shaunae was attempting a premature forward lean and lost her footing. I could not detect any evidence she intentionally propelled herself or purposely "dove" across the finish line.
In any case, she won the gold, and thats what really matters.

Why are people allowed to drive through our streets daily blasting disgusting obscenities to the annoyance of everyone, but they are suddenly arrested when they focus the same filth on the so called "elite"?

One would have thought Perry Christie intelligent enough to learn from the failings and consequent demise of Hubert Ingraham that Bahamians are fed up with the status quo. Yet Christie obviously learned nothing, and is well on the way to crash and burn even worse than Ingraham!
Christie had the support of the masses in 2012. Bahamians literally came out of the woodwork with new innovative ideas and a multitude of proposals that would have turned around the ailing economy. **ALL were denied and totally ignored by Christie!**
PM Christie totally squandered the easiest opportunity of all time to be the most consequential prime minister in Bahamian history and indeed the region!

It is common knowledge that Haitians have vastly outnumbered Bahamians at PMH maternity ward for decades. Belinda Wilson confirmed many schools are 60%+ packed with Haitians.
Bahamian students would be much better served without the Haitian element overcrowding our education system.
Culturally Haitians believe in having big families & the more the merrier. "It is what it is" and people need to face the facts and start an honest conversation to deal with the problem which is costing us all very dearly!
Haitians procreating like rodents is a very serious problem in our society. Sticking your heads deeper up your ass's will never bring resolution.

The immediate response and resolution to this incident by police is absolutely amazing!
I certainly have never heard of, or ever could have imagined RBPF reaching such a high level of proficiency as reported in this story.
Other reports of increased crawfish numbers attributed to RBDF effective patrolling the banks is also very good news to worn out, disheartened Bahamians.
Either it is close to an election, or someone has finally been let loose to make some much needed drastic changes in law enforcement. Now if we can light a fire under department of immigration and deal with corruption, we'll be hitting on all cylinders!
Tribune bloggers are always ready to complain at the drop of a hat about every incident, however, very few are unbiased enough to publish compliments when things go right!
