I really don't get why people are connecting this incident with feeding sharks while there is no mention of feeding sharks in the article. I have snorkeled at Green Cay numerous times and no one ever feeds sharks there.

Ironically, the last shark attack was also a woman. Has anyone thought of the very real possibility that these women were menstruating at the time?

After literally decades of taking snorkeling trips to Rose Island, Green Cay, the Abacos, Exumas, and several other Island destinations I have NEVER heard the tour operator warn menstruating women not to enter the water!

This should be a mandatory common-sense safety measure.

So what will they eat tonight and tomorrow?

Steaming horse nanny! The government has already opened the country’s borders to irregular Haitian migration decades ago. Which explains why we have as many Haitians in the Bahamas as Bahamians or more right now.

This clown is trying to soften us up for the announcement that restrictions have been eased for Haitians to be allowed into the Bahamas.

Mr. Davis should simply tell "the world" THEY “should absorb all of those who leave Haiti”!

"The world" does not want Haitians because they know wherever high numbers of Haitians go will be transformed into a violent cesspool because Haitians have proven beyond any doubt they are largely incapable of assimilating to other cultures.

Our country has been long overrun by Haitians. It's only a matter of time before they try to rise up in the Bahamas and demand from us what they were unable to demand in Haiti.

He gets you to talking about how he lost a huge majority in the house because he proved multiple times he cared more about Haitians than Bahamians!

SP says...

LMAO....This is the guy that told us his solution to the Haitian invasion was for Bahamians to learn Creol!

The rest is history.

Taxis routinely overcharge anyway. How will anyone know the difference? They are the second biggest thieves on the island only surpassed by politicians and pastors!

**WTF?** I don't know how, but this Joy Jibrilu has gotten away with bullshyting consecutive administrations for many, many years!

The **truth is** The Dominican Republic even without its major markets of Russia and Ukraine and unprecedented levels of crime the Dominican Republic continue to lead the **global tourism recovery.**

The Dominican Republic belongs to a small group of countries showing rapid tourism recovery in 2022. If we analyze the last 12 months of Dominican tourism, it is evident that the country has **already surpassed 6.8 million arrivals**, a level never reached before!

When the performance of the region is analyzed country by country, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Mexico continue to lead tourism recovery in 2022! not the bahamas.

The Dominican Republic, Minister of Tourism David Collado, has advised UNWTO of record arrival numbers for April, May, June, and July. Notably, arrivals in July were 24% higher than in 2019, putting the country on course for its best year on record.

Regardless of the Bahamas' close proximity to 450 million North Americans seeking sun and fun destination vacations, the PLP and FNM have **totally failed** to grow our tourism product commensurate with far-flung regional competitors that came from way behind us in the early 70s to surpass us today.

Our new airport has already outgrown capacity and is as **F-I-L-T-H-Y** as the old airport was, taxi drivers still routinely rip off visitors, jet ski and other front-line tourist operators are the worst of the worst, most ignorant individuals in the country!!!

**The Bahamas was once the number one destination in the region. Under PLP and FNM leadership we are now in the lower top ten.**

We need to stop masturbating in the Joy Jibrilu, PLP, and FNM bullshyt fantasy world and deal with the reality that these issues are unquestionably destroying our number one industry.

We can't blame poor work ethics on the workers. The governments lousy management skills is on them, not the workers!

We can thank the FNM Ingraham administration for creating the bail laws in the first place!

In fact the majority problems affecting Bahamaians today were all created by failed policies of the PLP and FNM.
