Man stop listening to Davis talking bullshyt. Phuck the "crypto boom". Only a very small handfull of Bahamians will ever benefit from crypto! We need to kill the unemployment fueled "crime boom" before the whole country collapses!
Please identify the professions that could possibly require a Bahamian understudy 5 years to master. I bet you cannot name 3!
Bahamians that have been functioning way above their pay grade for years have to train, and continue run circles around expats with paper credentials every day. Yet the expat gets housing allowance, transportation, school fees, medical plans, and food allowances.
labour Director Robert Farquharson and the government is toying with us again!
John Pinder was on the right track. Farquharson needs to deal with the 30,000 non-essential blue-collar ex-pat workers in the domestic sector doing jobs that Bahamians should be doing.
Government should be feverishly working on implementing domestic and vocational training for our people that THEY failed to educate properly in the first place.
Crime and unemployment are intricately joined at the hip. Regardless of the nonsense put out by the government, crime will continue to rise unabated until unemployment is significantly reduced!
The country is moving quickly down the slippery slop of unpresidented crime fueled by massive unemployment and you people have allowed Brave to get away with this irrelavent Moncur distraction!
Secret payments are business as usual in the Bahamas where corruption and piracy thrive from the top down!
Thank GOD the case is being adjudicated in the U.S.A Sarkis would never get any justice with crooked politicians and their crooked judges in the Bahamas.
I pray **all the pirates go to jail** and hopefully this would be the beginning of the end for our crooked political and judicial systems!
There can never be any reduction in crime until the people are given alternative opportunities to make a living. The country needs trade and vocational schools to prepare our people to fill jobs now being occupied by blue collar foreign tradesmen whose governments educated them.
The government can continue pretending and talking bullshyt but crime situation is undeniably a direct result of their failure to educate our people, failure to grow the economy to compensate for increased population, and huge failure of immigration policies!
**STFU Minnis!** Exactly where is the comprehensive plan YOUR administration had to counter crime, inflation, or rising energy costs?
Unquestionably the PLP and FNM are the architects of crime after 50 years of asinine stupidity!
Recall the "crime conclave of stakeholders", go ahead and bring in another 30,000 non-essential low-skilled blue-collar workers in exchange for work permit fees, don't implement any vocational training or improvements to education, and for GOD's sake continue turning a blind eye to illegals entering, working and owning businesses.
We will have a worse crime situation than Jamaica in short order!
You people swallow anything hook, line, and sinker! When will people learn the PLP and FNM couldn't be trusted with a bag of rotten fish.
Myles Laroda was simply told to float the information in the media to get a public response and the response was so negative the PM put a short-term end to the initiative.
However, the purpose of Larodas' announcement was just to plant a seed, which was done. So we can expect Davis to follow through with a bombshell announcement on increasing NIB taxes in the medium-term.
It's called the game of **"politricks"** underhandedly used by the PLP and FNM to mismanage the country's affairs and mislead the electorate for decades with the blessings of so many brain-dead loyal followers!
