Minnis was equally lousy at being PM as Pindling, Ingraham, and Christie! Maybe that whole generation is just lousy "all for me" people.

SP says...

Stop being a jackass for once! The proven real reason behind crime is unemployment and the root cause of unemployment in the Bahamas is the abundance of non-essential ex-pat blue collar workers holding low skilled jobs that Bahamians should have.

The PLP and FNM created this situation and they need to be responsible and resolve the problem!

Absolutely right! The cost of imported goods with shipping, Duty, port fees, environmental levies, brokerage fees, and VAT, is more than 100% of the first cost of the product itself!

How the hell are we supposed to survive?

People on the right were well advised by their Bahamian attorney how to draft the agreement with every loop hole imaginable to screw Bahamians at every turn.

No mention of the usual lack of performance or claw back clauses omitted in every HOA signed by successive administrations.

Same crap different day!

What the hell are you people whining about? Have any of you actually gone to a food store recently? Food prices are skyrocketing. Groceries for a family of 5 cost upwards of $500.00 a week!

How the hell is anyone expected to live on $250.00 a week? It is no surprise Bahamians are driven to stealing whatever they can to supplement their income.

Instead of standing around talking absolute crap about "shock treatment", the government needs to focus on vocational training and getting rid of 30,000+ non-essential ex-pat blue collar workers that are holding average paying jobs that low skilled Bahamians can do now.

It is easy to understand why 70% of the electorate did not vote for either of these clown parties!

Agreed, he and the boys had to have gotten something under the table to sell out the country!

The question is, how do we flush this weasel out and hold him accountable? Thank GOD he was removed!!!!

SP says...

Dr. Minnis is either a 1000% total asshole or he thinks we the people are 1000% total assholes! This is yet another under the table asinine deal. There has to be a huge monetary win-fall hidden somewhere for Minnis and the boys.

This man belongs in prison right along with Pindling, Ingraham, and Christie. 4 assholes that took the electorate for conchs!!!

THE Public Hospitals Authority has launched an investigation itself. **total non_starter!**

To add insult to injury, Haitians and Asians have developed their own very sophisticated parallel economies to avoid spending locally and VAT.

Poor Bahamians are stuck carrying 90% of the VAT burden while ex-pats at all levels flat out refuse to pay VAT whenever possible.

Of course, our jackass politicians are totally oblivious to all of this!

SP says...

Haitians and others from economically depressed countries have already destroyed our way of life!

Legal and illegal predominately Asians and Haitians occupy blue-collar and domestic jobs that Bahamians should have. These people purposely do more work for less than Bahamians thereby totally eliminating Bahamians out of the job market.

Entire groups of Haitians could be found any day in Old Fort, Lyford Cay, Sandyport, Port New Providence, Delaporte Point, Caves Heights, painting, on construction sites, landscaping, etc, while Bahamians are driven to fighting and killing each other trying to get a dollar.

Asians have solidly cornered the domestic sector. These individuals will do multiple jobs housekeeping, babysitting, cooking, landscape, specializing in ass-kissing, and anything else for minimum wage.

Our useless PLP and FNM politicians sold our people out for work permit fees to these blue-collar ex-pats as a means of making money for the treasury, never considering the economic and social damage they would create.

Crime will continue to spiral out of control as more and more Bahamians are forced out of the labour pool into a life of crime for survival.

Thank you PLP & FNM for destroying our once great country with over-employment and "leading" us into this cesspool of 40% unemployment and epidemic crime!
