united Nations human rights experts can go to hell. They don't have to deal with the multitude of negative impacts shantytowns have on our country, people, and the environment!
The government needs to totally ignore these people and do what's best for the Bahamas and Bahamians.
Untold 1000,s of people must qualify. These 5 geniuses can't figure out how to wear masks properly. How long will it take them to deal with each person individually?
Bottlenecks, red tape, wasting time & resources are government specialties!
Last month Education Minister Jeffrey Lloyd told reporters he had “no concern at all” This is an issue of personal responsibility.”
Suspected cases of COVID-19 were reported in the following New Providence schools in April: HO Nash Junior High School; LW Young Junior High School; Sadie Curtis Primary School; Carlton Francis Primary School; CR Walker Senior High School; TG Glover Primary School and Garvin Tynes Primary School.
Why be proactive. Let's wait and see if teachers and students infection rate become overwhelming. Then government can go into reactionary mode as usual!
The only reason Bahamians are not in position to invest in tourism excursions on large scale is because consecutive governments have blocked our participation at smaller levels.
Bahamians will never be owners of our economy because PLP & FNM governments refuse to let us onto the playing field. We cannot be expected to start with $200M projects. RCL, Carnival, Disney, etc' did not start as big as they are now.
PLP & FNM governments are the biggest deterrents to real economic growth in our country!
What a bunch of dumbshyt! If the law allows criminal records to be expunged for certain offenses, why the hell should individuals have to "apply" to benefit from the law? Why not simply expunge everyones criminal record for those offenses?
These jackass politicians only know how to make life more difficult for people, and they think someone is going to vote for them for making them jump through hoops!

Typical of the Bahamas to make people jump through hoops and waste as much time as possible while doing it!
If people qualify, simply expunge their records and advise them. This "process" is just stupid!
