Good People, Can someone tell me who's ass has to be kiss in order to get a General Shop license? I have a friend in North Abaco, who has been trying to get a General shop license for over three years now, to no avail. Every time they check on it ..they are given the run around.
This is sad....they have asked their MP for help but to no avail. Either he is powerless to help or does not care. Is this not a God given right as a Bahamian to be granted a license if everything is in order. By the way this person is a FNM General...who is being treated like shit by the PLP Island Administrator.

It's safe to say that this FNM is one and done. They have no people to people skills. Here in North Abaco, Local Governments gets little or no help from anybody. I'm told that all 5 members in Green Turtle Cay are going to resign,due to the lack of interest by their MP and the MP for Local Government. I'm also told that the flies and mosquitos are as bad as the days of Moses, yet they ask for stuff to spray with.......but get no answers from no one.
Keep in mind that the FNMs in Green Turtle Cay raised over $7000.00 for their MP. That money was used to open HQs in other constituencies. I think they get swing...... What say you Mr Tal?

It appears that not quite a year into their mandate,the FNM seems to be quite slow or even clueless. The mistake they are making is thinking Bahamians are ignorant to what is going on in their Country. There are bad apples in the party, mainly the old gansters from the past FNM. It was the FNM or the crooked PLP to choose from. The people chose wisely, no matter how bad it may seem. The best way to get sound Governance from them is to put fire under their behinds. Here in Abaco there seems to be very little being done. But sometime you have to demand things get done. Don't give up hope yet.
