What matters are they dealing with? Bribery? As in looking for one from the tenants? . All that work to get to this stage and you sit back and do nothing? Do you not hear the outcry from the public?
All this money being spent on past and present GG's. You wouldn't think there are 10's of thousands of hungry Bahamians and living in clapboard houses on illegal land with minimal electricity.
There seems to be a lot of benefits too building illegally. No building codes, no need to purchase property, to property tax payments, no insurance, and best of all the Government will pay to put you up and pay for your food when your illegal house burns to the ground.

Good for them. But the GG is a political appointment, which means nothing will be done, even if the GG was appointed by the other side.
