Why would I want to give this government more money? It won't go towards better health care or roads or education. It will be shared among 30,000 un-needed government employees as well as towards obscenely bloated contracts. More money would go to the people who actually need it if I drove down Carmichael Road and threw $1,000 out the window once a year.

I'm just happy that you helped to vote in an absolutely perfect party. Arguably the best cabinet the country has ever had. We've never had it so good.

On Who’s to blame for BPL costs?

Numbers boyz will be happy.

Incompetence has cost all of us an additional $150million is living costs. That's just great. The PLP supporters seem to be more than happy with this for some strange reason. Perhaps they get extra income while their party is in power. The rest of the country however has to suck up this huge additional living expense.
It's weird how PLP's don't complain about their electricity bill while the PLP are in power but they complain to no end when the FNM are in power and their electricity bills are lower.
Insanity or stupidity?

Now when he says government revenue beat targets by $50 million. Is that personal revenue for government officials or does he mean really mean revenue deposited in the people's consolidated account?

On Gov’t revenues beat early goal by $50.6m

Speaking about approval's of large developments. When are the annual declarations due for MP's? Do MP's ever include the amount they have in say... a personal safe, as part of their declaration?

Let me guess... any information about the fine will be confidential so we will never know the amount or whether or not it is actually paid.

I am really curious as to why they are 'eager to return'? What about that post is attractive? Seriously. It is, and has been, a war zone. Is there good food and entertainment still going on in the area of the embassy or their homes? I can't imagine there being much free time or ability to explore the country.
Also, they mention gathering intelligence. Personally I would down play this aspect, as there are gangs involved with the transportation of Haitians by boat to The Bahamas. If they suspect you guys are actually affecting their business... be careful.

Sickened says...

Never. The PLP on want power for personal game. What they achieve for the people and in what economic condition they leave the country is NEVER a consideration. Since Pindling's time, their party has only gotten greedier and more incompetent. Pindling and Ingraham were the only two visionary leaders that had the people in their heart.

Have they ever mentioned the Haitian sloops when they talk about fire arms? I mean there are well armed Haitian gangs in Haiti and there are well armed Haitian gangs in Nassau. Logically there is a connection. And I don't hear of any Haitian sloops being caught heading to Haiti from the Bahamas which makes me suspect that the fire arms used by the gangs are coming this way not that way.
