Just thinking out loud... Members of the Gaming Board should realize that they are and will always be held accountable for this decision and at some point (when honesty and integrity eventually prevail again in our country) these members will stand before the courts to testify and swear that Sir Bastian (futures PM and Knight and perhaps ruler of the free world) had no financial interest either directly or indirectly (through a trust structure) at the time he was in Cabinet. Note: even if he doesn't get the proceeds of gaming directly at this time, if those proceeds go into a vehicle that he or his family members eventually benefit from then this Board risks prosecution and hefty fines and prison time. Maybe they want to look at this again so they can sleep better.
Sounds like you've committed some heinous crimes in your day. Sad! I hope that your current path of righteousness is true - for if it isn't, may the good Lord take note and judge you accordingly upon your death.
Sorry but you just have to laugh at some people's poor choices and then to hear them cry about it. Sad that people continue to die but when evil people die God smiles.
I wonder if the infamous Tiny Ambulance Buyer will also be the buyer of tiny fire trucks?? Remember the trucks need to hold water as most of our water mains do not function.
We aren't building another hospital silly. That development stopped on election day and not a single truck or worker has been on the site since. That was all election gimmicks. BUT... I bet the contractors will reap the full payout and in 3 years when construction starts again more contracts for the same exact work will be issued.
Maybe Air Traffic Control could put a procedure in place to check to see not only if the plane is licensed to fly but also if the pilot is licensed??? This can be automated with AI. AI simply listens into the communication system with ATC and checks tail numbers and pilot names against a database. If the name or number does not return a valid hit it simply alerts ATC and the plane is grounded.
Even if it is passed in law it would simply be ignored by officials - especially this government. Accountability is for the FNM only. Christie's big middle finger is the PLP's symbol and message to the average Bahamian.
