First off.... 2022!!!!!! This information is already 3 years old - almost worthless. Does it really take 3 years to tally up figures for such a small population? Disgraceful!
I understand that this is a government office where only a handful of people actually do something resembling work but my lord get with the times. Once you take into consideration how old the data is and then if you factor in all of the errors and lack of sample size they might as well have guessed on the numbers based on how many Bahamians eat corned beef for dinner.
Looking into my crystal ball... I see chaos and uncertainty with a bill on this subject. Especially when it's created by this government. Will they lean towards protecting Sebas and his current and proposed rental developments? Or will they lean towards screwing the hard working middle class?
Our current 'wealth destruction' is a direct result of greed, corruption and stupidity on the part of the PLP. Stop padding every single contract and our country would be flush with cash.
Doing business in The Bahamas is extremely risky especially once you factor in Government corruption, greed and lack of intelligent senior staff. Then add in the lack of understanding or giving a crap of those tasked with working through issues with the private sector.
This parties office of the AG is an absolute disgrace. How they can treat a Bahamian worker (and an obviously hard and dedicated worker) is unconscionable. The Government should actually be made to pay damages as well.
This is just another nail in the PLP coffin. They can't help but destroy every facet of Bahamian life. The PLP are losers in every aspect EXCEPT personal financial gain.
Cheaper they sue the cabinet members in their personal capacities rather than The Bahamas. These people don't know that you need to go after the deep pockets??? Davis them broke the cookie jar - The Bahamas broke man!
Yup. After the raid the cookie jar and then dump out all the crumbs they tend to give up and hand the reigns over to the FNM knowing full well that only the FNM have the intellectual capacity to bring the country back from the cliff.
