Downtown is no longer designed for Bahamians. The shop managers and staff take the prime parking spaces which means they don't want or expect Bahamians to pop-in to their stores. They only care about foot traffic - which are tourists.

The problem isn't the location, the problem is the low class miscreants that drive the trucks and lack of an educated police force that ensure that these trucks don't speed and leave a trail of debris behind them.

Isn't FOCOL and SHELL the same thing? I'm pretty sure that when the Government refers to a deal with SHELL they aren't talking about the international company but the Bahamian incorporated company whose shareholders are unknown.

Most taxi drivers are lousy, ignorant, disgusting humans. They drive horribly and endanger other motorists, pedestrians and property. Plus 90% of the vehicles are disgusting and poorly maintained.
