I think the PLP should add extra burden and taxes on the AIRBNB entrepreneurs in order to further reduce room capacity for tourists that want to come and visit and inject money directly into the hands of individual Bahamians.
Strike already. PLP ain't checkin' for any of you or any of us. They need money for their personal ambitions. They only have a few years left. They will have record revenue but yet the stadiums will be a shamble, the roads and infrastructure will be a mess, the hospital will still be a shiite hole and schools will still be structurally unsound and moldy. And by some weird twist of reality, even though the public won't be able to see where even a penny has been spent, there will be a huge deficit which requires even more tax in the 2023/24 budget. Check the consolidated account for money eating caterpillars because somehow/someway the government just doesn't have the money.
Ask your people how much money government has brought in on gas tax and then see how much they spend on road works. I'm sure there is a huge unexplained gap. And then check people's home safes and personal undeclared foreign bank accounts.
Why doesn't the government have the dealer's mark-up based on a percentage just like theirs is? Or have a fixed rate for both the government and the dealers. Pretty simple really. No need to have one way for government and one way for its citizens.
I'm sure some politician will suddenly have a fleet of new mailboats that are the only boats with the safety requirements RCI demand. Fitzgerald probably already secured that contract.

Any idea where the toilet water is going to go? Deep wells? Piped into the harbour? Sewerage plant on site?
